Hate to do this but I think you need to give mom a chance here. Life is not always about YOU and what YOU want. I know it's hard but try to put yourself in your moms shoes for a minute and try to get to know the people in her life. She doesn't get to see you much and it might be cool if you really tried to care about her feelings. Sorry for your pain but Man UP. Maybe you could even learn something useful like fishing. Maybe you will meet a cool girl who you will have a one time summer fling with and then never see again but will fantasize for years to come:) Good Luck and hug your mom.
