What is wrong with this Ipod?!?

i had the same exact problem as you did but my 30gb ipod was only about 1.5 years old, i think apple doesnt make the greatest durable products out there, you cant do anything about it but buy a brand new ipod, but i would wait until november because every november apple renovates its line of products
