How do you remove mildew....?

From a leather jacket. It was put in to storage a couple of years ago and apparently the box got wet and the jacket is mildewed. I don't want to get rid of the Jacket because it was my husband's. He ped away from leukemia and I want to be able to give this jacket to our daughter.
