friction burn..what to do?

I had but I wasnt well lubricated and it hurt but we kept trying anyways..now my is hella irritated. It stings a little towards the back when I try to pee..I know its not an STD or anything its just cause I wasnt wet enough..what can I do to subside the irritation? How long does this typically last.
